The food was excellent. We went on a sunday for roast dinner. Portion size was good. The puddings were great. Can't fail with sticky toffee pudding. It was a delight. Service I have to say there is room for improvement. The staff themselves were very nice and extremely friendly but, somewhat disorganised. We didnt receive our drinks until I asked for them again once our meal was served. Then when we were finished we asked for the bill and received it to then wait for an age for someone to come back. Issue was 5 or so staff on the floor but working every area. It was quiet enough for 1 person per area. This is long winded but I would not mark down less as it is a simple issue to address and we were not unhappy as the staff were so lovely! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £30–40 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Dietary restrictions: Booking on line you can add any dietary restrictions and also the staff will ask prior to seating. All menus are available on line to view prior to visiting and can get in contact via an online message or phone easily. Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot, Free of charge street parking Parking: There is parking at the rear of the building located between the co-op and the Longniddry inn. If full there is plenty of street parking free of charge around. Car park has roughly 20 spaces. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly what I seen. Kids safely playing outside in a closed off (not secure) area.

Poor food and even worse service.
Frozen style chips, 3 chicken goujons and a bit salad, half hour for it to finally arrive, ok it was a table of 7 but 4 of us had goujons. Goujons were anything but golden, try brown, were deep fried and swimming in grease. Actually left two of mine. Not once did any member of staff ask how the meal was and even when clearing plate was not asked about meal, despite leaving some. £13 for above. Save money and go to cafe along the road.

Totally lived up to brother's recommendation. Excellent food, served by friendly, but not overpowering staff. Worth 120 mile round trip, to visit and take him for birthday treat.
