extremely disappointed with our stay. We paid over 200 pounds a room and we had two rooms and both were old dated and disgusting. Definitely needs a deep clean as there was mould in the bathrooms and mountains of dust everywhere. As someone with asthma aswell i really struggled. On arrival i noticed there was loads of dust on the floor so had to ask the cleaner to hoover. It was only as time went on i noticed more and more dust. I would definitely not recommend this place, when we spoke to the lady at reception on departure , she didn’t even apologise for the conditions we had to stay in. Service: 1

Very grubby!! Can’t believe we paid £300 for a night in this room. Complete ripped off. Nearly went & slept in the car. The sides of the bed base stained, the shower very mouldy. My husband rolled out of the bed in the night onto the floor as sides collapsed. Service: 1

A cost restaurant in a fabulous historic building. The staff are warm and welcoming and we're attentive throughout our meal. Food is really good and portions are generous! We have returned several times in recent weeks and this is fast becoming a favourite for lunch. Service: 5
