Easily the best Chinese takeaway in Thanet! We've ordered from here many times, and are always left extremely happy with the quality of the food delivered. Not to mention the entire vegan selection they offer! What an absolute nightmare today! We order from lucky house quite regularly but there started to be problems with how long the food would take to arrive so we started using New Shanghai in Northdown Road instead but they only take cash so we had no choice but to use lucky house tonight as we didn’t have any cash. Order was placed at 6:54pm. Order arrived at 8:25pm but was missing the egg fried rice. We were assured the egg fried rice would be with us soon, I also asked for a free add on for the inconvenience. It’s now 9:10pm and we are STILL WAITING for the rice. I’m having to re heat all of the food. Absolutely disgraceful. Will not be ordering from them again! Will stick to new Shanghai. Would have been quicker to walk to the nearest cash point to get money out! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: £40–50 Dietary restrictions: One vegan one meat eater.
