Well, I got my own order wrong today. I went back and lightly accused them of giving me the wrong food. They didn't, I just got confused between house special and special fried rice anyway, they were so nice over my silly brain (Sorry again). I always get my Chinese from here, it's a once every 3 month treat. Always tasty, always lovely service. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried Lucky Star recently and came away feeling pretty underwhelmed. The food itself was fairly average and didn’t really stand out compared to other Chinese takeaways in the area. On top of that, it felt quite overpriced for what you actually get. What really let the experience down though was the service. The female owner came across as quite rude and arrogant when dealing with customers, which made the whole interaction feel uncomfortable and not very welcoming. Overall it was a pretty mediocre experience. Between the prices, average food, and poor customer service, I’ll probably be trying somewhere else next time. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £70–80
