We recently visited Meatworks in Manchester and ordered two burgers — the Emmy Burger and the Beef Jamming Burger — each served with a generous portion of fries. The Emmy Burger had a really tasty sauce that added a lot of flavour. I personally think that sauce would shine even more on a chicken burger rather than on a beef one, but that’s just personal preference. The Beef Jamming Burger was very good — juicy, well-seasoned, and definitely a highlight of the meal. We also tried the two sauces that came with the burgers: * The BBQ sauce wasn’t our favourite; it lacked a bit of punch compared to what we expected. * The other sauce (sadly I can’t remember the name) was nice and paired well with the fries and burgers. for the quality and portion size (including fries), the price was reasonable. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was excellent — vibrant and stylish with a welcoming vibe that felt perfect for a casual meal out. The staff were very good and welcoming, making the whole experience even more pleasant. Do note there’s a service charge added to the bill, which is worth being aware of. Korean BBQ Short Rib - best dish! 5/5 and would recommend. Impeccable service, chilled environment, no alcohol served, kid friendly. Must try the 'key lime pie'! Special shout out to Ran for providing the best service and helping us through the menu and wait times etc. Also there was another young lad, forgotten his name! Overall - 5/5! We decided to try MEATWORKS in Manchester and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. The mocktails were amazing, really fresh, well made, and a perfect start to the meal. We ordered the beef ribs, a burger, and broccoli with kale on the side, and everything was absolutely beautiful. The food was full of flavour, cooked perfectly, and just genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. A special mention to Ran, who served us. We probably wouldn’t have discovered some of the best dishes if it wasn’t for her recommendations. She suggested some great options and really made the experience even better.
