On a whim, 9 people decided to make reservations for lunch at M&J's Country Kitchen. No one had eaten there before so it was an unknown. Oh, my goodness!! What a great find! If we hadn't had reservations we would have never gotten in as there were folks lined up for a table and that was a Thursday at lunchtime. We were seated immediately by an attentive to detail young man, water arrived with menus and every person got exactly what they ordered, quickly and hot. Some ordered from the breakfast menu( available til 4 p.m.) and couldn't stop raving about the hash browns and loved the sausages. The chicken soup was down home tasting and seasoned perfectly. The clubhouse was enormous and the fries were the best. I had the Reuben and it was one of the best I have found and I order a Reuben nearly everywhere I go, searching for the perfect one. Caraway seeds in the rye bread would have put it at NO.1. but it was delicious nonetheless. Friendly, good service and wonderful food says we will be stopping at M&J's whenever we are near or in Oliver! It's tucked in the middle of a strip mall so could go unnoticed but it seemed like the locals sure know where the good food is as many chatted amongst themselves as they waited in line. it is in our opinion the restaurant is only mediocre
we had a 40 dollar meal and we asked a waiter if we could get a coffee refill
the waiter said he needed the table cleared for couple waiting to be seated
so needless to say we never did get refill of coffee. There was an open table in the corner he could have seated the couple waiting. we left the establishment and now vowed never to go back. manager offered to give us free coffee next time we go
there. i told her its too late really doesnt matter what they offer us the point is the rude waiter needs to go

Grant 4 roku temu na Restaurant Guru

After a week camping at the lake. Where should we have breakfast. This was a pleasant surprise. Excellent Food ! Great people offering great service. This is for sure a stop on our list next time we are in Oliver. You won' be disappointed.
