Klimatyczne miejsce, wyrozumiała obsługa i przede wszystkim świetne jedzenie. Największym zaskoczeniem była darmowa woda. Głośno, jak to w pubach bywa, niemniej jest to miejsce godne polecenia. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, around 1430. Whilst the pub/restaurant was busy, we were able to find a free table, without a reservation. Ordering was fairly easy - we could do this on our phones via the Greene King app (though you can also order at the bar). I ordered a bacon poutine (pictured) and some chicken tenders on the side. The portion size of the poutine was smaller than I’d have hoped, but it was still tasty. Not anywhere near as good as poutine in Canada though. Otherwise, my main feedback would be to critique the service and prices. A pint of Coke Zero cost almost £5, and when our food was delivered, one of the chicken tenders from the bowl had dropped onto the servers tray (which didn’t look clean). I was invited to pick it from the tray and put it back in the bowl, which didn’t seem hygienic. I was disappointed that the server did not apologise for this or offer a replacement tender, though I understood he may have been in a rush due to how busy the venue was. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the Maple Leaf. The food was average at best, with the portion size not particularly cost effective. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £10–20

HI Ted,Thank you for taking the time for your review, we appreciate all feedback, without it we can not improve for the future. Firstly, my apologies you did not have a great experience with us. Secondly my apologies for the lack of professionalism from your server, this is not acceptable behaviour and I intend to find out why this happened and provide further training on what should happen in a situation like this. Regarding our poutine, we do try our best to make poutine as close as we can to Canada, however, we are limited by the products we can get in England.
