If you’re searching for the finest Italian restaurant in Aberdeen, look no further. I highly recommend making a reservation, as this is a dining experience you won’t want to miss. From the moment we arrived, everything was outstanding. The food was simply exceptional—beautifully presented, full of authentic flavours, and cooked to perfection. Every dish showcased the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs. Each bite was a true delight. The wine selection was equally impressive, and the red wine we chose paired wonderfully with our meal. The service was warm, attentive, and professional throughout, making us feel genuinely welcome. The elegant décor, relaxed atmosphere, and attention to detail create the perfect setting for an unforgettable meal. Combined with the outstanding food and excellent hospitality, this was easily one of the best dining experiences I have had in Aberdeen. Considering the quality of the food, service, and overall experience, the prices are remarkably reasonable and represent excellent value for money. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It exceeded all expectations, and I will certainly be returning. A truly first-class Italian dining experience that deserves every bit of praise it receives. Had the pleasure of being invited for the small plates tasting experience with wine. This is definitely a gem of a place with an open kitchen and where the service is on point. Menu is excellent and the food we had was 10/10. Can't wait to go back. Couldn't fault a thing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: One of our group was celeriac and her needs were met and surpassed.

This was our second visit to Mara, and made much easier with the new online booking system! The food is interesting and very tasty, with a nice selection of wines. this is easily the best restaurant in Aberdeen - we will be back! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £50–60
