Booked for my birthday and service was apocalyptic given for the majority of the time there was 1 person serving/making drinks/taking new orders. We were told we must pre-order food almost a week in advance and yet we still had dishes unavailable. They didn’t have any Prosecco available. It took over 45 minutes and 3 people going and asking staff to even get our drinks order taken. After over an hour of being there we then had to go up and ask where our food was and they didn’t even know we’d pre-ordered. When the food came, most people had ordered steak and it was cremated to the point most people didn’t finish eating the food. Given how long all the drinks and food took to come, we ended up having leave half our party there to prevent being late for another booking. We were given “half off our bill” but given I was made to give a deposit of £240 before, this ended up being nowhere near half. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Something is off about this place. I had this place saved and been wanting to try since opening and, I have to say it’s been incredibly disappointing… 1) the vibe and atmosphere was off, no buzz at all and all the staff had low energy as if they didn’t care 2) we sat down for 20 min and no one came over to at least ask if we wanted some water 3) when it came to ordering food and drinks, literally nothing was in stock, duck was not available, no sirloin, no cider and they didn’t even have ketchup for the fries! . It would have been nice to know about this when we were handed the menu 4) we got two steak frites and asked for both to be medium rare, they came medium well to well done and flavour was average. Su Paloma cocktail was straight up grapefruit juice. 5) after we got our 1st drinks order, no one ever came back and ask if we wanted another round (surely you would want to up sell us a bit). The whole time we were there as a group, we were just so confused as to how a restaurant of this level can run like this. It’s a shame really….
