Well, what can I say? Sometimes those eateries which are small and have a small menu some say can be the best restaurants. With Marcella it really is true. The atmosphere as you enter is relaxed, non-pretentious- and this is so important, how many restaurants have we been to where the cosmetics are lovely but under the make-up it’s all a little wrinkly and dry - not the case here at all, this is a genuine joy of an environment to be within. The service and staff is second to none. They all seemed to love being in that establishment, making sure you had a great time, you were enjoying your food and just making you feel at home. I know that is what we’d hope every restaurant would be like but we all know how unique that is within British restaurants, it makes such a difference. Now to the food, what an absolute treat, created with love and care and with tastes which make your mouth explode like you’re on a non stressful bungee jump. At the end of every dish you wanted more but it was very soon replaced by a dish which outdone the previous.
