Booked a table to enjoy El Tableo. The selection of tapas were fantastic and the were so tasty. Particularly enjoyed the pork belly, fried salted pimientos, empenada. Enjoyed the fruity ciders too! Price per person: £20–30

Stumbled across this place just before it was closing. Great concept where the server offers you a selection of tapas to choose from. All brilliant! And for £3.80 each. Final bill for £53 with a beer and soft drink. That’s extremely reasonable. Great service too. Will return! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Finally checked out the El Tableo at Maricarmen in Ancoats after hearing great things. No menu just try what you like the look of for £3.80 a plate and the Food and drinks were so nice. Fresh, flavourful, authentic. From all the usual suspects to different things. The Octopus stole the show (that glaze) and the Vietnamese cheese roll. Nom! Fun way to try new things you wouldn’t normally too and really good service! Next time I need to save space for dessert! Will be back! Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: All
