Lovely little bar, albeit a bit run down, but felt really comfortable in it. And at £3 a pint it was excellent value. Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid parking lot

I visited Sutton on Sea Beach today with my family for the first time. We were unaware that almost all shops on the beach are closed on weekdays. Our experience at the Marisco Inn was quite disappointing and upsetting. After realizing there were no public toilets available on the beach, we noticed the Marisco Inn was the only open establishment nearby. Desperately needing a restroom for my wife, we went inside and politely requested to use their facilities. The staff member informed us that the toilet was only for customers. To accommodate their policy, I decided to order a beer. However, I was then informed they only accept cash, and since I only had a card and Apple Pay, we couldn't complete the purchase. Despite our urgent need, the staff member did not allow us to use the toilet and was unreasonably strict about the payment method. What made this encounter even more distressing was the perception that his refusal and rude behavior were due to my ethnicity, as I am Asian. This left us with no choice but to drive another 30 minutes to find a service station. This experience was truly pathetic and left us feeling unwelcome. I would not recommend the Marisco Inn to anyone, especially if you expect basic courtesy and humane treatment. **#NeverAgain** Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
