Spent a bit of Saturday and Sunday night in here. We are old school and this bar was right up our street. The local were very welcoming and friendly, especially the 'young guys' we shared a table with on Sunday. 2 farmers and North Sea Tiger (in Norway). You know who you are :) But a special mention to the bar staff. The four of us (2 couples) have over 200 years between us of going to pubs and can assure you, we have never seen a more professional one in our lives. She was non-stop serving, moving tables and even cleaning the very small toilets. Remembered our drinks after the 1st time of serving. A credit to the pub and a lovely lady. If we are ever back in Inversnecky, we`ll definately be coming here again. Great atmos. Great juke box. Great pub. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Never go here, it's totally rundown and the atmosphere is atrocious. I say this to protect it, the internet is a beast and the Market Bar transcends online fakery. It's worth more than Bezos, Zuckerberg or Musk will ever be, individually or combined. I cant give it higher praise but hopefully you've not read this far. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £1–10

Might be the place to go and see live music, however not so great in the cold light of day….. need a seriously good clean. Barmaid got my change wrong twice( a two drink order !)
Had to source ice for the G and T from their downstairs bar…the cook/chef wouldn’t give the barmaid a lime either( when she asked for a lime for “the tourists”……..he very rudely told her where to go…unbelievable!)
