A hidden gem. Absolutely delicious spot for fast food lovers! The burgers were juicy and packed with flavor, the pizzas were fresh with perfectly melted cheese, and the chicken wings were crispy, spicy, and cooked just right. Everything arrived hot and quickly, and the staff (especially Saj) were friendly and welcoming. Great portion sizes, fair prices, and a clean atmosphere make this place a must-visit. Definitely one of the best fast food experiences I’ve had — highly recommend and will be coming back again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It was fantastic. I got the classic star burger with 6 grilled wings. Firstly I just want to say, even though they aren't well known for their wings, it was one of the best I ever had. Piping hot, great flavour and great char. The burger was crispy on the edges but succulent. Only downside was the chips. It was too thin for my liking, but still nice. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Gave Markie's a second chance after a disappointing first visit because their online reviews suggested I'd hallucinated my initial experience. Turns out, the first time was their good day. The 'spicy dipper' burger arrived as a zinger so salty it could de-ice a highway, while the smash burger was so bland it seemed offended by the concept of flavor. Only the fries showed up with any culinary competence. Either everyone else in town is eating at a different Markie's, or taste buds are being handed out at the door. Two strikes and I'm out—some relationships just aren't meant to be, no matter how many five-star reviews play matchmaker. £40 wasted.
