For dinner, this is a below average restaurant in this price range. The salmon and scallop appetizers were good, but the £48 filet steaks and sides were bland. The steaks were cooked to our specifications, but they weren’t seasoned. The sauce that comes on the side is the only source of flavor. Likewise, the mashed potatoes didn’t taste like they had any butter or cream or any kind of seasoning. I would not recommend eating dinner here for the price. If you did eat here, stick with wine and appetizers. Breakfast was delicious, however. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £70–80

One would assume that a restaurant named Chargrill would be able to cook steak correctly, apparently not, Ribeye was overcooked and completely tasteless, to make matters even worse the broccoli was also overcooked, it’s a vegetable, you’re a restaurant, how is that even possible? Highly priced and everything about this place failed to deliver on that price point. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

I would like to start off saying the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make our dinner occasion special 5/5 stars all around. The one downside to our dinner was the Ribeye Dinner for Two. We ordered the £90 ribeye steak medium rare and it came out beyond Well Done. There was only one slice that had any remnants of a pink color, the rest was completely brown and incredibly tough. For a restaurant to charge that much money for a steak, it needs to be cooked perfectly. They then gave us two smaller ribeyes for the sake of time and they were very mediocre and lacked flavor for the price as well. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £100+
