We only went because we were meeting friends there, we had a meal that was quite good and the service was excellent. No complaints there, but the music was just too loud and completing with the football that was being shown on every tv. Very popular pub... We moved outside where it was slightly quieter where we could hold a conversation. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

If you’re looking for a great local pub with a lively atmosphere, I’d highly recommend Masons Arms in Wickersley. Whether you’re heading out to watch live sport, enjoy live music, or just catch up with friends, it’s a fantastic hangout spot with a welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is always buzzing, especially during big sporting events shown on the large screens, making it a brilliant place for football, rugby, darts, and more. The live music nights add even more energy and create a really enjoyable night out. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which makes the experience even better. It’s also great to see the pub catering for allergies and offering a varied new menu with plenty of choice for everyone. On top of that, the current 2-for-1 deal on selected pints is excellent value and perfect for meeting up with mates after work or at the weekend. Overall, Masons Arms is a brilliant all-round pub, great atmosphere, good food and drinks, live entertainment, and a friendly crowd. Come in for dinner with my mum and mother in law today. We had lovely meal very reasonable priced. My mother in law ordered from the senior menu not many places do smaller portions for those that can’t eat much but she said the portions were just right not too much not too little. She especially liked the apple crumble said it was very homely. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
