Taste good burgers. The pleasant staff shows a high level of quality at this restaurant. The spectacular service is something these restaurateurs care about. You will appreciate affordable prices. It's always good to try something new and enjoy the cool atmosphere. 4.7 is what Meatox received from the Google rating system.

Their food is really good especially if you’re dining in but if you’re gonna get delivery. It always comes hot and fresh, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering the fried burgers for delivery. They’re very good but since the are fried science, does science and become soggy but that’s with all fried food in general you have to have it the minute it’s fried or it becomes soggy. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Dietary restrictions: Halal

After looking for places that sell smash burgers, this place popped up. We looked at the reviews and images and we knew we had to try it out. We drove 40 minutes and can say this place did NOT disappoint. The food was incredible! We ordered a smash burger, a spicy chicken burger both with fries and the hot honey blaze fries. The burgers were juicy and packed with flavour. The chicken burger had such a lovely heat, but also sweetness too it. And the fries were crispy and so loaded. We ordered in store; then walked 20 minutes back to the car and the food was still hot when we got back to the car and the fries were still crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The portions are fantastic and the price was incredible!! The staff were so informative and welcoming, and answered all questions we had, and even put forward recommendations of what to try when I was unsure. If I could give it more then 5* I would. My girlfriend and I came into Meatox after seeing a review online. The owner was very welcoming and gave us his recommendations. The food definitely lived up to the hype of the review. Completely fresh ingredients, not greasy or soggy but absolutely packed with flavour. The burgers were incredible and the loaded fries were insane and all for an excellent price. Will absolutely be ordering again from Meatox- this is the new go-to burger spot in Colchester Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
