Filthy would be a compliment, absolutely disgusting inside would not reccomend going unless you want to get ill. Personally I don’t spend my money to eat in a dump. Not suprised the place has 1 star hygiene rating!!! Dread to see what the kitchen looks like. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Food nice, but expensive for what it was. As only 2 people waiting rhey soin got overwhelmed when rhe tables started filling up. Unfortunately, we would not return az quite frankly there are other esrablishments that are better vslue for money. Visited March 2026. Price per person: £60–70 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We had a mid-bad experience at Mediterranean Sharrow Vale. The service was friendly—our waitress was new but had a lovely attitude, which we appreciated. However, she had no wine knowledge and wasn’t familiar with the dishes, which made ordering quite confusing. For example, she served a small bowl of hot oil alongside my oysters, which clearly didn’t make sense and showed a lack of understanding of the food. The starters were hit-and-miss. My partner enjoyed the fried squid, but my oysters were medium quality at best and not properly cleaned—gritty with dust and small bits of shell still on them. For mains, we had the seafood paella and seafood risotto. Unfortunately, both dishes tasted oddly sour, and we strongly suspect the seafood was cooked from frozen. The flavours didn’t blend at all—it felt like the seafood was cooked separately and just thrown into pre-flavoured rice. The mussels, in particular, had a sour off-taste, which also affected the rice around them. To top it off, most of the wine list wasn’t available—only the very basic wines and the “house wine” were on offer. We appreciate the friendly service, but the lack of food and wine knowledge, along with the disappointing quality of the dishes, made this a letdown overall. Not likely to return unless there are improvements. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £20–30
