I’ve now visited this newly opened MELA restaurant twice, and both experiences have been excellent. Our first visit was to celebrate Father’s Day, and we were so impressed that we returned for my grandson’s birthday. On both occasions, the food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every dish was full of flavour, and the menu offers something for everyone. The atmosphere is warm, and perfect for family gatherings. It’s clear that the team takes pride in providing outstanding food and service. Congratulations on a fantastic new restaurant. We’ve made some wonderful family memories here already and will definitely be returning. I have been living in Old Town Swindon for the past 7 months, and Mela has become my go-to place whenever I don’t feel like cooking. The staff are always super friendly, the food has never disappointed me, and it might be strange but I am a big fan of their NAAN- absolutely delicious! The prices are fair, the portions are generous, and I feel lucky to have such a great restaurant within walking distance. Highly recommended! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Recently visited Mela under its new management, and the experience was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly service that made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. The food was exceptional—almost every dish was freshly prepared and served piping hot, which really enhanced the overall dining experience and showed great attention to quality. The naan, in particular, was the best ever had soft, fresh, and perfectly cooked with just the right texture. It complemented the Sherpa lamb curry and dal makhani beautifully. It’s wonderful to see the new management maintaining such high standards and clearly prioritizing both food quality and customer experience. I highly recommend Mela to anyone looking for delicious, freshly made food paired with exceptional hospitality. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
