Maybe I've been too spoiled by living in Langley and close by to Akedo Showten. Menbow tasted ok. The noodles tasted like processed frozen ramen noodles, the chashu was was not made traditionally (the marinade was more of a wet rub that was sous vide, no char), spring onions were poorly and unevenly cut. I also ordered gyoza and chicken karrage, these were just your frozen ones. Overall experience was ok-average. Keep in mind you are paying premium+ prices for very average food quality. Pricing was a bit higher than Marutama and Akedo but quality is very subpar to either. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The ramen was flavorful and comforting, while the takoyaki was tasty and served hot. The portions were good, and the place had a nice atmosphere. Would love to come back and try more items on the menu. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
