Such a pleasant surprise! Being a fan of Japanese food, including having spent time in Japan, I can confidently say that the food served here in Midori is very good, well prepared with attention to detail and quality ingredients. Certainly deserves a higher rating. Now that I have eaten there for the first time, will definitely return. Nice food but super dirty and old fashioned place. Scare to go to a toilet. Feels like no one cleaned it. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

After completing a 20km run around North London, I was craving a good bowl of ramen and stumbled across Midori Japanese Restaurant. What an absolute gem. My phone was on 1% battery after tracking the run, and before I had even taken a seat, the staff kindly offered to charge it for me. It’s the small things like that which make a lasting impression. Despite being only a couple of minutes away from closing, the waiter and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. There was no sense of being rushed, just genuine hospitality from start to finish. I ordered the chilli beef ramen as my main, along with tempura prawns and an octopus starter. Everything was beautifully presented, packed with flavour, and arrived surprisingly quickly. The ramen was exactly what I needed after a long run. The ambience gave a real authentic Japanese feel, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. What stood out most, however, was the customer service. Even after closing, they allowed me to enjoy my meal at my own pace without any pressure to leave. A fantastic dining experience all round. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommended. . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
