Came in here wanting to try out the restaurant for its hype. Everything went smoothly and the service was pretty good. The staff were attentive and very considerate. You could really tell that everything was systemized + they prioritized the experience. Now the food… it gave me and partner diarrhea!! We ordered the belt noodles and shrimp toast to start. The shrimp toast was pretty good and paired nicely with the sauce on the side. Soft and pillowy bread and well-balanced shrimp filling. The belt noodles. It honestly was pretty salty and you could find this dish at alternative restaurants for less. Same thing for the char siu, it was so salty and the sauce was overpowering. The fried rice and the walnut shrimp were the best out of all of them, and the most well-balanced dishes of the night. But yeah probably not going to come back here due to our “post-restaurant experience”. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Mimi Chinese takes tradition dishes from Chinese cuisine and take them on a contemporary spin. All the ingredients tasted fresh and cooked with amazing flavour and technique. The stuffed chicken wings are so incredibly juicy yet tender inside and that creates a super interesting texture when you are enjoying it. The mushroom fired rice is packed with flavour and it is nice and dry. The eggplant is super saucy and flavourful. The sorbet dessert wraps up the meal nicely with interesting textures combined. I was also impressed with their mocktail! Service was also amazing! Love love love the dining experience there! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $50–60
