We recently went for fish & chips at Minchellas and what a delight they were too!! It's refreshing to see that standards haven't slipped over the years and in today's current climate the prices are reasonable for what you get. The fish was nice and white, the vatter was ought and crispy and the chips weren't greasy. The portions were decent too. Generally you pay more for everything these days and you get less but this isn't the case with Minchella's abd you get. Food: 5 Service: 5 Meal type: Lunch

Fish and chips here is generally top notch but yesterday 22/08 just after. 3pm my wife went and ordered 3 fish and 2 chips. Nothing was made fresh the fish batter was thick and soggy and the chips were full of small pieces that were. Hard and dry they were so Bad that 3/4 went to the bin. If I did not live 30 minutes away this insult that I was presented with would have been returned. It was an absolute disgrace. Sort yourselves out if you want me back. As a customer.
