I hadn’t had such a delicious and enjoyable breakfast in a long time. Everything was incredibly tasty, fresh, and spotless. I genuinely highly recommend this place—10/10! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast

I visited Mirache Kitchen in the London Borough of Enfield for breakfast with my partner and toddler. The staff were very smiley and friendly, and the interior design of the café was beautiful and welcoming. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. We ordered three meals, and I was shocked to be charged £53.50. Considering the portion sizes, the quantity of food, and the café’s location, I found the prices extremely excessive. We were charged: * £6.90 for a very small portion of scrambled eggs. * £14 for a Turkish breakfast, which came with lots of herbs added to the fried egg. * £13.50 for an omelette. * £3 for a tiny portion of baked beans. * £3 for half a sausage. * £5.60 for two English breakfast teas, which arrived late because the staff member forgot to bring them. * I also asked for one small bottle of water (£2) What made the experience even more disappointing was that no receipt was provided when I paid at the counter. The staff member didn’t write our order down at all and appeared to memorise everything instead, which may explain why no itemised receipt was presented after the meal. I found this quite upsetting, especially as I was left trying to work out how the total came to £53.50. It honestly made me feel as though I had been overcharged. On top of that, when I went to pay, I had to wait around five minutes while two staff members stood chatting to other customers next to the till, even though those customers had already paid. It’s a real shame because the café has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and is very close to where I live. However, paying over £53 for what was essentially two breakfasts, a small portion of scrambled eggs, and a few extras felt incredibly poor value for money. Sadly, I won’t be returning, and they’ve lost what would have been a regular local customer. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £50–60
