Miserden Estate is a lovely place to explore with the castle ruin, stream, lake, woodland and pastures. Great area for walks throughout the year with the pub in the village for afterwards. There's so much history in the vicinity from the Iron age settlements to Roman villas and roads to medieval settlements, castles and country estates with large houses.
