Important thing to know about Modern India buffet, EVERYTHING has changed. They no longer have sit down service. Went there with someone from out of town tonight. Upon arrival you get a choice of sizes of styrofoam containers, which you can fill and sit down to eat after you take your plastic utensils with you to your seat. Asked for ice water and was told they had no ice and directed to a cooler where you could purchase a can of pop juice or bottle of water. Very sad to see the restaurant go this way. Had been going for years and now will only go for a take out container. The ambiance is seriously lacking for eat in and if you take someone there you will be embarrassed if you are expecting how it used to be. The food was still good though.

When the food is fresh, this place is pretty good. It's hit or miss though. The takeout sampler plate is great when you know which buffet items you like. Generous food quantity for the price.
Dining in, the service is usually good, the plates are cleared quickly/drinks refilled/refreshed napkins when we ran out/etc
The people who own it are very friendly and welcoming!

I was excited for Goat Curry but was not impressed at all. They charge $14.99 for the buffet which I feel is costly with respect to the quality of food offered.
