Monarco was our first dinner last night before today’s World Cup soccer match, a place we happened to fall into simply because the more popular spot across the street was too busy. The room is beautiful and the menu is well put together. The food was good, just not quite memorable enough to match the setting. Think upscale Mexican with a few premium options, including a massive 48-ounce steak north of $300 for those looking to make a night of it. We weren’t in the mood for that tonight. Instead, we shared a bottle of wine and a collection of appetizers. The shrimp tacos were fairly priced, the guacamole was very good, and the hummus was probably the best value on the table. A bottle of wine, a handful of appetizers, and we were out the door. The service was the standout and easily the most pleasant part of the visit. Good food is what brings people back, and while the meal was enjoyable, it was the service that left the stronger impression on this visit. I was very disappointed with my experience at last night’s Persian event on Friday Jun 26th. First, after paying approximately $50 for admission, we discovered that the entire area behind the DJ had been blocked off as a VIP section. This was surprising because, at previous events, that space had always been open for everyone to dance. When I asked one of the staff members why it had been closed off, I was told it was reserved for VIP guests because it was a special event. It felt unfair that general admission guests paid a significant entrance fee only to have one of the best areas taken away. Second, the venue was clearly overcrowded. It seemed like far too many tickets had been sold for the size of the space, making it difficult to move around or enjoy the event comfortably. The service was also disappointing. Several waitresses were rude and inconsiderate. Instead of politely asking people to make room while serving, they pushed through the crowd, bumping into guests. One waitress walked directly into me and only apologized after I looked at her. Overall, it felt like guests without VIP tables were treated as if they didn’t matter. The biggest concern, however, was the lack of security. There was a group near us who appeared extremely intoxicated. They were climbing and standing on the benches, blocking everyone’s view of the DJ, spilling drinks on people around them, and creating an unsafe environment. Despite this behavior, I didn’t see any security staff step in to manage the situation. Overall, the event had a poor atmosphere due to overcrowding, rude service, the unnecessary VIP section, and the lack of security. I attended expecting a fun and enjoyable Persian event, but unfortunately, it was one of the least enjoyable experiences I’ve had. I hope the organizers take this feedback seriously and improve future events. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Our server, Keysha, was absolutely lovely! Even while handling multiple large groups, she remained composed, kind, and incredibly accommodating - truly on top of everything all night. Serving in that space can’t be easy with the tight layout, loud music, and lively (sometimes very drunk) crowd, but she handled it flawlessly. We were a group of 14 celebrating my birthday, with bottle service and a set menu, and she made the entire experience seamless. She remembered our allergies, knew the menu inside and out, and took such great care of us. She genuinely felt like an angel. Keysha made my birthday feel extra special - I couldn’t have asked for better service Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
