First time visiting Mona’s Jerk since moving to Angus and it definitely won’t be our last. The food was absolutely amazing and instantly brought my husband and I right back to Jamaica. Authentic flavours, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The service was incredible as well! So friendly and welcoming. Mini beef patties were brought out for us to try along with some homemade juices, which was such a nice touch. Everything was so good that after finishing our lunch we ended up buying a full platter of chicken to bring home for dinner. Such a great experience overall. Angus is lucky to have a spot like this! Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: Lower and upper part of this establishment. The owner is so friendly that if you couldn’t make it up the stairs she would find a way to serve you and make you happy.

To be able to get authentic, tasty Caribbean food in Angus, ON is awesome! Mona's is a take out place. Tonight, hubby had Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, and a side of the best Macaroni salad out there. I ordered Curried Chicken, but since it was almost sold out, Mona made me a triple combo of the curry, some curried goat, and some oxtail. It was SO GOOD!! I love all 3 of the salads offered, but my favourite is the macaroni. Big portions too! If you love Jamaican food, you need to visit Mona's!!
