They do a lot for the community which is amazing and also operate as a cafe with lovely service! been loads of times for the cafe and the pizzas and will keep going. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in

I really wanted to give this place a fair chance, especially as I understand they do a lot of good work for the local community. Unfortunately, this was the second time I’ve given it a try, and the second time I’ve been left a little disappointed. My first impression was that there were quite a few random items around the shop floor, which made the place feel a little messy and unclean. That said, the woman serving was friendly and provided good customer service. The breakfast itself had some positives. The beans, tomatoes and mushrooms were all cooked well, but unfortunately the meat products tasted very cheap, and the eggs were rock hard. When you’re paying for a breakfast, you’d hope for it to be reasonably good quality. At times, it can also feel as though you’re putting the owner out by simply asking for your breakfast to be half decent, which isn’t a great feeling as a customer. I appreciate that running a business isn’t easy, but ultimately the owner is there to provide a service, and without customers there isn’t a business. I also get the impression that there is a lot of focus on the same familiar faces who are regularly outside, rather than making an effort to attract and welcome new customers. That may not be intentional, but it can certainly come across that way. I’m not trying to be overly negative because I genuinely think, with a bit of tweaking, this could be a really good place. Better quality ingredients, a little more attention to presentation and cleanliness, and a more welcoming approach to all customers could make a big difference. I do recognise and respect the good work they do within the community, and I hope they take the comments constructively. Unfortunately, though, after giving it a second chance, it was another let-down for me. Order type: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £30–40

Thank you for the review, the random items you saw are charity items and litter bags for litter picking for the community.The meat items are quite pricey so if its a taste then it's to do with the supplier.Also with regards to the eggs, if you let us know your preference of how you would like them then we could of cook them that way.

Stopped by here with my partner as part of our journey. The cafe was closed but they still served pizza. Pizza was great, loved the dough, proper fresh! The tomato base reminded me of my aunties cooking back home, nostalgia in every bite. Oz is a great man. Spoke with him and loved hearing all the things him and his brother do for the community, very inspirational. It hit close to home when he said they help single parents, one of the hardest jobs is being a parent and doing it alone makes it even more challenging, so to hear they help single parents really made me smile. Oh and the bathroom, it was so nice to see the sanitary products, baby changing unit, posters on all kind of topics and where to get help (eg. Escaping from DV). This is the kind of thing humans were meant to do, look out for each other. Keep up the good work and maybe see you in the future Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
