Ordered a Chicken bacon cheese panini and it's the worst sandwich Ive had. The sandwich was just cold toppings between toast. The cheese wasn't even proper cheese just that cheap plastic cheese. Paid £5.50 for it and I feel ripped off. Cant even bring myself to eat it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Mr Deli is in a great location and it’s clear a lot of money has been spent on the place. The shop looks clean, fresh, and modern, and first impressions are really good. However, the way it operates just feels a bit off. A deli should feel like a proper local spot where you can grab simple, good food without it feeling overly niche or overpriced. If they took a walk down the road to Hampers, they’d probably see what works well locally. There’s definitely room in the area for both places to succeed, especially if Mr Deli focused on being more of a neighbourhood deli while keeping their hot food offering as their unique selling point. It’s a lovely space with a lot of potential, but the concept just needs tweaking to better fit what people nearby actually want.
