You might think surely this place can’t be as good as all these reviews suggest. Well let me tell you it most definitely is and then some! My wife and I really wanted to try Afghan cuisine after watching a travel documentary seeing all the amazing food that is available in Afghanistan, so we google it and found My Watan. We visited tonight and oh my gosh it was some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. We had the Mantu dumplings and lentil soup starters then Qabuli Palaw lamb shank, lamb karahi and garlic nan. All the food from start to finish was delicious and comforting. The lamb just melted in your mouth and the lamb fell from the shank bone clean. We also had a delicious peach and mango mocktail. Another thing that made our evening so special was the staff, they are really friendly and welcoming which made it such a relaxing meal. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60
