My review of Mystic is roughly a month overdue but Mystic is truly a culinary gem in Halifax. It offers an unforgettable dining experience, and despite my reputation as a picky eater and skepticism about Michelin-starred restaurants, Mystic exceeded my expectations and is overdue for at least a star. The restaurant’s commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of the dining experience. From the meticulous execution of each dish, the storytelling, the harmonious blend of flavors, and exceptional service, Mystic delivers on every front. I cannot overemphasize the level of service and it was a paragon of dining/leisure experience. Ashton, the mixologist, and the dedicated staff ensured that every detail was attended to. Mystic’s signature menu is a culinary journey that demands to be savored, and it was a must-experience for anyone seeking to make a lasting impression. The attention to detail, from the choice of plates and glassware to the storytelling that accompanies each dish, creates an immersive dining experience that leaves a lasting impression. World class. We have eaten at 1, 2, and 3 Michelin star restaurants in L.A., New York, Toronto, London, Rome, and Milan. Mystic is at that level. Excellent food, great service, fantastic view, decor and location. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
