A big thumbs up to our server for today called Lucas A smile on his face and a very calm and collected voice to enhance our meal. Thanks to the whole team at the restaurant for making our eat in experience a calming and relaxed family day a success. I love a Nando's, but this is the only branch where I've ever had issues. Sadly, it's also my local branch. I ordered at 4:53pm, collected my food, then went home. At 5:16pm I opened it and saw the state of the potato wedges. They looked like burnt scraps and there was about half the normal portion. I order wedges from Nando's all over the UK and I've never had them served like this before. I am (and now was) a regular customer at Leeds Light. I've eaten in and ordered takeaway/collection various times. Today, I'm rather disappointed that: 1. You served me scraps and didn't seem to care when I raised it. I called the branch and was told there was nothing you could do, and that I needed to contact Deliveroo. I bought and collected the food in person. 2. You told me you needed my name and email over the phone, then said you needed more details, so I asked if I should come into the branch. After a 20-minute round trip, all you actually needed was my name, email address and the last few digits of my card to issue the refund. 3. This is the second time I've had issues with the wedges at Leeds Light. Honestly, this branch seems to have a personal grudge against potato wedges. The last time they charged me but were actually out of stock. That time, one female colleague simply refunded me there and then. This time, I'm told it will take 5 to 7 days just to refund £5.25. Of course, I don't pay for scraps, and I certainly don't expect Nando's to serve scraps/poor quality food, so I handed the scraps back. I love Nando's, but I might need to relocate just to find a branch that can serve the humble potato wedge to an adequate standard.
