I will not be returning here. We waited over an hour for our takeaway with zero communication about this. They informed us they had no goat curry, and no whole chicken yet when we got home, there was 3 small pieces of goat in my curry... No chicken, like they said would be substituted. There was also a hair in my jollof rice, which to me, looked like a bloody goat hair. We also received no chips with our meals despite paying and ordering for them. Overall, this was the worst eating experience I've had in years - and I've eaten on the streets of SE Asia. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30

We had a wonderful experience at Nativ in Bournemouth. We started with the edikaikong soup and pounded yam, which was honestly the tastiest homemade meal I have had outside a home setting in the UK. The food was freshly made, and the protein was infused with so much flavor, it truly felt authentic and comforting. The Guinness stout was imported from Nigeria, and it tasted exactly like the one back home, which was a nostalgic touch. The beef suya was well crafted, with a rich, flavor-infused yaji spice. It came with just onions, unlike the usual mix of tomatoes and cabbage, but I imagine if we had asked, they might have accommodated that. The ambience was fantastic, featuring beautiful African music and a thoughtfully designed interior; from the tables and walls to the authentic artifacts adorning the space. The waitress was a breath of fresh air: polite, friendly, well-dressed, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. All in all, a delightful experience, we are already looking forward to my next visit!
