A really good proper British pub. The steak was priced at £19.95 and it was as good as, if not better, than the £35-£40 steaks you get at a Miller and Carter. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

Stopped here for lunch today. Not been for years. A great spot and a great little proper country pub. We both had the beef baguette and it was fantastic . Dog friendly as well. Very reasonably priced, will definitely be coming back. Price per person: £10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

Had dinner here while on our canal holiday. By a margin, this was the worst meal we had. The lasagne was minced meat with bits of pasta in it and cheese grated on top. Significantly unpleasant. My portion had a piece of plastic in it. When I complained to the bar staff, she said it was only a bit of clingfilm! Her manner was offhand and unfriendly. When I asked if the faggots were homemade, she said: yes, by the Cash and Carry. I, certainly, will not be going to the Navigation Inn again, which is a shame because it is a nice building in a great location and could do so much better. Price per person: £10–20
