What I liked:
- the "tan tan noodle" (can't recall what the dish is actually called) is my favourite. It's spicy though!
- Peking duck (#102) is decent. Not the best but not terrible either. I liked how the wraps are thin.
- Kitchen is very clean. Impressed that the chefs wear masks and hats.
- Seating environment is comfortable.
- Front of house, despite lack of organization, is courteous and polite.
- Soft serve ice cream dessert on the house is a great way to end a meal.
- Lamb skewer is decent, as is the eggplant.
What I disliked:
- Very disorganized front of house. They brought us the wrong order. Noticed the same with other tables too, very chaotic.
- They apologized for the wrong order, gave it to us "free", but end up charging it on the bill anyways. Maybe they are hoping we wouldn't notice?
- Long wait time for food.
- Some staff don't speak basic English.
- Fried noodles too oily.
Overall, it's not a bad place for some authentic northern Chinese food. But management needs to seriously organize the front of house a lot better and hire servers that understand basic English.
