Nel's is a downtown corner cafe, serving both traditional and modern meals. Around lunchtime, I ordered the steak burger. Comprised of a well seasoned beef patty, nice thick cut bacon, and fresh toppings, the only part that I didn't quite like, is although the bun was crispy, it was rather oily on the top. Alongside the burger I got the garlic fries. With a good amount served in a bowl, these were drenched in garlic oil & had both excellent aroma, and good taste. The coleslaw served alongside in a small cup is average, with plenty of dressing. The service was good also, so this is definitely a nice establishment to visit for breakfast or lunch. Very friendly place with decent food, staff are lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed. It can be a wait to get a table at busy times but it's well worth it.
