Very poor food. Steak was great but the meatballs(only 3 may I add) for £8.50 were terrible. Pate was mediocre with very little taste. My wife's fish was dry and couldn't be eaten. Better quality and value would need improving Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

I must admit, Nicola’s has gone downhill over the years, used to come all the time. thought i’d try it again as hadn’t been for a while. As soon as we walked in, there was nobody at the front desk. We eventually got sat down, the table was broken, so we had to move. Got some drinks, then Waited for someone to come and ask if we would like anymore drinks and nobody did the whole time we was there which was an hour and a half, so i had to go up myself and ask, The food arrived, We was then waiting for someone to come and ask us if the food was okay. I even tried to get two waitresses attention to ask for some sauces and was ignored. There was a hair inside our starter garlic bread, Usually i am not one to complain especially on the day as i don’t like confrontation, but this was a very poor experience for the money i paid which was just over £80 for two people. Service needs a good looking at, and The staff need to be more inviting. Definitely not coming back here again, Nicola’s you were a let down not like how it was years ago unfortunately. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It was my first visit for my son's girlfriend's birthday. The food was absolutely gorgeous and piping hot too. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We will return Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
