Ah, the Notty. During my visit in 2024, forty years after release of Threads, it was on the top of the list of places I have to visit in Sheffield. There wasn't Johnny B. Goode playing, but the beer selection is nice and the pies are out of this world! As British cuisine is not one to be really sought after, the pies are made so well, gravy is savoury, mashed potatoes are heavenly and the mushy peas are also nice! Great pub to visit regardles whether you go to Sheffield as a Threads fan or if you want to spend time in a proper English pub. Next time I am in Sheffield, I'll have a dinner there, and so should you! Price per person: £20–30

Had heard about this place though daughter said they had had awesome pie here, so while in Sheffield visiting for my 55th birthday we went to the Nottingham house for pie,mash,mushy peas & gravy and it was absolutely amazing delicious I think best pie I’ve ever eaten, the bar staff were excellent very friendly and obliging, when in Sheffield again I’m definitely going for another pie. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20
