I was in nu bar tonight with my husband and witnessed a member of staff approach the table across from me with a young baby and asked them to 'do something about the baby screaming'. I just wanted to say that I felt this was disgusting to approach a family about something out of their control and make them feel uncomfortable. The family was visibly distressed after this and left soon after. If the family read my review, I'd like them to know that I wouldn't come back here with my child after witnessesing this tonight. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £40–50

Our staff member approached the table not to suggest that the baby was a nuisance, but simply to check if there was anything we could do to assist. We hope you'll agree this comes from a place of care rather than complaint. Nubar genuinely loves welcoming families, and we do so every day. Just the week before your visit, we hosted 17 mums and babies for a group meal, and we're delighted to say it was a wonderful afternoon for everyone. Families are very much part of what makes Nubar special.We should also mention that we are currently undergoing refurbishment, and our new acoustic panels, which will greatly improve the sound environment in the bar area, are on their way.
