I stayed at Oranmore House while travelling alone and had a really enjoyable experience. It’s a beautiful historic property with lots of character, elegant interiors and a lovely traditional country-house atmosphere. The breakfast was one of the highlights — very tasty, fresh and well prepared, and a perfect start to the day. The whole place feels much more personal and charming than a typical chain hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the surroundings are peaceful despite being conveniently close to Ballymena town centre. The house and gardens are beautiful and give the property a distinctive Northern Irish character. A great choice for a solo traveller looking for somewhere comfortable, atmospheric and a little different. I would definitely stay here again — especially for the breakfast!

My husband and I have just returned home from a lovely meal at Oranmore. We don't eat out often but we always find a meal in Oranmore is worth waiting for!! The food is always delicious and the staff are exceptional. Thank you again Oranmore!

Sunday Lunch has an attractive menu. The food is of high quality, reasonably priced and the service is attentive but not intrusive
