One of the best fish and chip shops in Leeds. I don't eat fish and chips often, but when I do. I come here. Fish is lovely. My only negative comment is. I think ketchup sachets should be free. And not 10p each. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

The prices have gone up but the fish has gotten smaller. You wait a long time for your order at the counter. Thay are to busy taking orders on the phone or serving people eating in . Will not be going here again . Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I ordered gluten free chips and halloumi fries, went for the first time and it was lovely and I had no reaction at all. Went a second time, ordered exactly the same food and spent that night throwing my guts up + over a week and half later, i'm still having a celiac reaction. This place advertises doing gluten free, but the second time I went i asked my partner to try it, as i didn't trust it because of the taste or the smell. My partner said they could taste fish, so therefore the food was fried with OTHER gluten containing food. Gluten free batter tastes very different to wheat batter and I ended up leaving some of the food, only to still have a severe reaction. Do not trust this place for saying it's gluten free because it's hit and miss. So thanks oceans, celiac disease is not a choice. It's an autoimmune disease. I know for a fact it was this place that gave me the reaction as I cook all my own food. I only wanted a treat night and ended up on the toilet 7 times in 2 hours and being sick twice. Food was gorgeous, but not worth nearly dying over. This place is not celiac safe, really nice for normal food, but absolutely NOT celiac safe. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Celiac disease.
