Staff were lovely and polite, nothing too much trouble. Sam and Alex the owners were happy for us to stay in the motorhome in their car park for £10 a night but this was taken off our food bill. We did phone in advance to make sure there was room for us. The food was lovely coyld not fault it. We would certainly come back again. Dogs welcome blankets, water and bowls, dog treats and even dog menus they will cook for our furry friends. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Parking: It is free parking generally but you do need to pay £10 a night if you are staying over night in the car park. Remember you do get this back off your food bill. Kid-friendliness: They have family eating area where there is a secure safe outdoor play area and also an indoor play area Wheelchair accessibility: It is disabled friendly everything on one level, plenty of space in walk ways and around seating area. The disabled toilets are clean and well equipped and easy assess to the toilets. The assess from the car park into the Old Colliery is assessible with dropped curbs and level paths.
