Came here on Saturday night for the World Cup game and was totally looked after by Amy, Diamond and Hamza! The food was great a proper Indian, the atmosphere was great there were screens everywhere to watch the football and we were accommodated by all the staff! Great food, beer was good but a little flat, very reasonably priced. Might need to ask them to top your drink up but they'll happily do so. Curry was really good, very happy.

Earlsfield £5.50 Amstel The Old Sergeant Pub is located close to King George’s Park in Earlsfield, southwest London. The nearest station is Earlsfield. The pub has stood on this site since 1785. The present structure is Victorian and was purchased by brewer Henry Young in 1857 and became a tied house for Young's Brewery. Today, the pub is independently run. This is a cosy and intimate, one-bar pub that is traditionally decorated with a few modern touches. The main bar area has a centrally located servery, with a hatch to the kitchen on the left. Just off the main bar is a room called The Dugout. If you head up a small flight of stairs, there is a pool room with a dartboard. The decor consists of boarded floors, traditional fireplaces, plenty of mixed seating, and a nice selection of old photos and mirrors, plus a few large TVs. At the rear of the pub is a comfortable beer garden; there are also benches at the front for watching the world go by. The beer lineup was a selection of well-known brands and a couple of cask ales. I decided on an Amstel; my pint was great and the price point was fair. The food menu is Indian, with a selection of dishes you would normally find at an Indian restaurant. A chicken tikka masala costs £9.95. I arrived at 1.30pm on a mild, sunny Saturday lunchtime in November. The pub was fairly quiet, with a couple of punters having lunch and a few lads in the pool room. The atmosphere was relaxed; I sat at one of the poser tables to watch the Spurs v Man Utd pre-match build-up. The service was excellent, and I was kindly given a guided tour by a friendly member of the team. This is pub is a very good all rounder that has a bit something for everyone. I loved the architecture and the village pub feel to the interior. The beer is reasonably priced and the food smelt amazing. I would definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
