One Planet Adventure at Llandegla is a really enjoyable trail centre and a great place to spend a day on the bike. I’d say it’s particularly well suited to beginner and intermediate riders, with plenty of fun riding without feeling overwhelmingly technical or intimidating. The trails are well laid out and there’s a good mix of flowing sections, forest riding and features to keep things interesting. It’s a great place to build confidence, improve your riding and just enjoy being out on the bike. If you’re newer to mountain biking or riding with friends and family who have different levels of experience, Llandegla is a really good choice. One thing I would say is to be prepared for the climb! There’s a big, steep uphill section and it definitely makes you work for the descents. If you’ve got access to an e-bike, I’d seriously consider taking it — it makes getting back up the hill much more enjoyable and leaves you with more energy to concentrate on the fun parts of the trails. The facilities are good too, and having the café and bike shop there makes the whole experience really convenient. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. If you’re looking for a fun, accessible trail centre rather than an extreme downhill bike park, Llandegla is definitely worth a visit. It’s a great place for beginners to progress and for intermediate riders to have a proper day out on the trails. Great riding, beautiful surroundings and a really enjoyable day out. Went there for a walk. Great walking routes. Nice cafe and bike shop. Parking was reasonable (£8 car and 2 adults & 2 children). The bike routes looked excellent. There were a few different types depending upon your ability. The only feedback would be: the toilets could be updated and the WiFi connected with the password but was incredibly slow (better to use mobile signal).

This a good trail centre most trail sections are flow armoured trails, the initial climb is long. Car parks can get busy some weekends, cafe hours vary but toilets are open till the gate closes. The on-site cafe is pretty good. Car parking is currently £8 plus £2 per additional person
