Visited with friends - it was very quiet the night we visited and we had the entire upstairs area to ourselves. The food was made quickly and tasted good, although the menu options were limited. Cocktails tasted nice especially the Jaffa cake one - would definitely suggest trying. Price per person: £20–30 Wheelchair accessibility: The upstairs is only accessible via a staircase but there are tables on the ground floor.

Went in here after a Carlisle united game, was wearing a football shirt under a jacket and the lass and bar hoyed someone out because they were wearing a shirt with “the badge exposed” I said what the hell does that matter you’re wearing the shirt either way but oh no apparently hAvINg tHe BaDgE ExPoSeD exposed means you’ll cause trouble. How about throw someone out who’s actually causing trouble rather than being funny with folk trying to give you money? Now you’re a private business and can set any rules you like, but maybe have a bouncer or someone at the door to say “that’s not allowed”, like as a 35 year old man in the year of our lord 2026, I shouldn’t be in the situation where I feel bad for attempting to purchase a bloody beer at a bar. I wasn’t in a gaggle of rowdy lads I just wanted a pint with my wife before going home, but apparently Open Mind just arbitrarily discriminates against people who deign to wear a particular shirt (but only with the badge exposed, there were other people in there with shirts on with the badge exposed but apparently it’s not allowed). Absolutely boneheaded. Walked out, never again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
