Fantastic place. Although they’ve taken the salad off the menu but you can still order it as an addition to a sandwich or meal, which I did. This turned out to be the best smoked meat sandwich (brisket meat; beef, thin-sliced) in Vancouver. Even though I haven’t had any others since the Jewish deli was demolishedhed at Oak & 49th, I’m sure I’m right. Even the ciabatta was good (something I I usually dislike. I don’t know why this place isn’t more popular. Great food, great service, and a really good atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent too, especially seeing my favorite whisky, Shelter Point, behind the bar. Definitely worth checking out. Enjoyed a lovely weekday lunch here. We had the prosciutto avocado toast and pesto prawn fettuccine. Both dishes were perfect - fresh ingredients, great balance of flavours, generous portions, and beautifully presented. The house white was good (enough, although would recommend another house white choice to Pinot Grigio) and the Negroni was fab. Would highly recommend Open Outcry as a tasty, good value spot with a laid back city vibe for lunch, dinner or happy hourwhich we’ll be going for very soon! Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
