Always had good service here since it opened, and had a brilliant time at the Sunday comedy night! Will definitely be back for that more regularly. Really nicely laid out place for a drink, and good atmosphere for an evening. Really happy to have this as another good local place to go

We came today understandably not many people as we came around 4 to have a drink and we got the cheeseboard which on the menu said it would come with figs fresh fruit and a good selection of cheeses and breads with chutney We got a board with some meats a salad some digestives? Not crackers, no bread, no chutney, no butter and 1 cheese no fruit or figs it wasn’t present amazing either I’m not normally mean in reviews and I if I don’t enjoy a place I’m not one to leave something but it was just a bit lack luster and for a £27 board I’d expect it to be a bit better and for it to have everything that it says on the menu we got it for half price as it was discounted food on Mondays and Tuesday which is a good think I think if it was full price I probably would have just sent it back and asked for my money The staff there are lovely and really sweet so I don’t say this in a mean way cus everyone there was so nice maybe we came on a bad day but I recommend if you want to have fun in the evening as they have live music Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Oriels Exeter, and it proved to be an experience worth celebrating. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere struck that rare balance between vibrant and comfortable, offering a lively buzz without ever feeling overwhelming. The cocktails were outstanding, each drink felt thoughtfully composed, both in flavour and presentation, making the cocktail menu a genuine highlight of the evening. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the team. Every member of staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The owner, in particular, deserves special mention hands-on, friendly, and an absolute star. His passion for the venue shines through, and it makes all the difference. Oriels Exeter is a standout addition to the city, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30
