I’ve had this same issue multiple times now, and it’s getting very frustrating. I regularly place orders online for pickup and choose the option to pay in-store. However, every time I arrive usually 10-15 minutes later my pizza hasn’t even been started. It feels like the staff intentionally wait until I show up and pay before they begin making the order. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. If that’s their policy, they shouldn’t offer a “pay in-store” option for online orders, or they should clearly communicate that preparation won’t begin until payment is made. What makes it worse is that I’m often told they’re “busy,” but from my experience (and having worked in a pizza place before), the store is not actually busy when I arrive. This has happened consistently, not just once or twice. It’s a convenient location for me, which is why I keep coming back. But this ordering process is unprofessional and wastes customers time especially when I have people waiting at home expecting the food. On top of that, one of the toppings (paneer) tasted extremely bitter and seemed spoiled or not fresh. We couldn’t even eat it and had to remove it from the pizza. When I called the store to address the issue, I was told to contact corporate instead of being offered any immediate help or resolution. That response was disappointing and unhelpful. I used an app called Too Good to Go, to try their items. You pre pay 5.99 and Pizza Depot offers left overs from day so there is no food waist. I thought I would try and was very disappointed. I received for 5.99 one very small slice of pizza and that was it. When using the app you have to pre pay and go there to pick up, most places on this app like Pizza Pizza give you aroubd 3 to 4 items for 5.99 and its totally worth it. Not Pizza Depot...only one small slice. Very disappointed and pizza was....meh... not as good as I was hoping. Service: Takeaway Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
