Panda Express charges extra for its so-called “premium” items, yet can’t even keep them available. Two items I wanted had run out, and I was told it would take 15 to 20 minutes to make more. There was barely a lineup, so that wait was ridiculous. How hard is it to watch what’s running low and start cooking more before the trays are empty? This isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with painfully slow service and a poor selection of ready-to-serve food here. Szechuan Express at Square One manages to keep items cooking and trays replenished even with long lineups. Their food is better, their portions are bigger, and they don’t charge extra for individual items. Panda Express charges premium prices while failing at the basics. I won’t be going back. Service: 1

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but after this experience I felt it was necessary. I’ve been coming to this location for the past 8 years, and until now I’ve always had a positive experience. That’s why this visit was so disappointing. I was excited to try the new Hot Orange Chicken. Before ordering, I tried the sample they were handing out, and it was excellent—fresh, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Based on that sample, I ordered it for my meal. Unfortunately, what I received was nothing like the sample. The chicken in my order was hard, dry, and very chewy, to the point where it didn’t even seem like the same product. It was honestly difficult to eat and far below the quality I expected. What made the experience even worse was the way it was handled. I politely brought the issue to the manager, James, expecting that he would at least acknowledge the problem or offer a solution. Instead, he seemed completely uninterested and dismissive. There was no apology, no effort to investigate, and no attempt to make things right. It felt like he simply didn’t care about the customer or the quality of the food being served. As a loyal customer who has supported this location for years, this was incredibly disappointing. Mistakes can happen, but how they’re handled makes all the difference. Sadly, the lack of customer service was more frustrating than the food itself. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because long-time customers deserve better than this. It’s alright. Nothing special. Panda Express in the United States is much better. You get more food for less money. The honey walnut shrimp is so good though. I wish they had more locations in Canada. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
